Approach and Cultural Stories

The learning quest on the ancient town of Perperikon is about the history as well as today’s importance of the site in the regional development.

Students from two schools will be invited to study the site and develop a good understanding of its role for the whole region in different historic times. Moreover the students will develop and discuss own ideas of how the site could be presented and promoted in interesting ways to Bulgarian and international visitors.

In particular, the results should be designed for other students of the same age group. One interesting approach for a learning quest will be discovering the archaeological layers of Perperikon through mythical figures and known historic persons.

A mix of virtual and physical resources is considered to be the most appropriate approach in promoting Perperikon. The online part of this mix will be published on the website of the Municipality of Kardzhali and Web spaces that attract a young audience.
