Heritage Alive! Award Ceremony in Gorlice
The young cultural ambassadors were awarded in the presence of UNESCO authorities.
The highest title the participants could gain was: Guard of the Cultural Heritage!
Gorlice, 17th May 2007 - The main aims of the ceremony were to award the best students who participated in the “Learning Quest”, to present our mutual output and exchange experiences, to promote “Heritage Alive!” project and disseminate knowledge about it, to thank the authorities, teachers, priests and people involved in the “Learning Quest” for their participation, efforts and contribution.
The meeting was also attended by the polish UNESCO representative to award the prizes and acknowledge the value of the project in promoting the UNESCO world heritage sites across the region.
