Expert Roundtable meeting in Holloko

25 September 2007– The unique village in Hungary – Hollókő provided the backdrop for the Heritage Alive! expert roundtable meeting. The meeting was prepared by the Hungarian Heritage Alive! partner and the Hungarian Regional Development Team. It brought together 24 regional development experts, regional government representatives and Heritage Alive! participants from 7 countries (Austria, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Hungary, Poland and Romania) to formulate regional development strategies and recommendations for the upcoming Heritage Alive! publications: "Renaissance in the CADSES” and “Regional Policy Implications and Recommendations”. The meeting was moderated by István Talabos from the Hungarian Regional Development Team.

The publications will be made available online for download and order early 2008.


Each region presented its regional development strategy paper


A SWOT analysis report was prepared for each region


The results of the project were evaluated from a regional development perspective


Time was also taken to explore the beauty of Holloko
